5 Fun Things (aka Resources) We Love!

In Episode 84 of our Make Dance Fun podcast, we covered 5 fun resources that are our current faves! We’re linking all the details here in case these go-to tools might help you out at your dance studio, too!

1. Canva Print Services
Canva is pretty much a staple for most of us already, but if you haven’t used their print services yet, we highly recommend it! We’ve ordered mugs, flyers, postcards, programs, banners, and more. The quality is great, the turnaround is fast, and you can go straight from design to delivery in one place.

2. Sticker Mule
From die-cut stickers to magnets and more, Sticker Mule is always in our rotation, especially at the start of a new season. They’ve recently upgraded their design tools, but we usually upload our own graphics for things like car magnets, welcome party stickers, and company merch.

3. QR Code Monkey
An easy and free way to make branded QR codes! You can customize colors, add logos, and even create gradient designs that match your branding. It’s a small thing that adds a big impact when sharing links. We use the free version, but you can also upgrade to the paid version for more features.

4. Studio Shuffle
We found this resource at Studio Owner University and were hooked in five minutes. It makes building and adjusting your class schedules so much easier. It’s visual, user-friendly, and lets you drag-and-drop while automatically flagging conflicts. We’ve used it for our main season, camps, and rehearsal schedules.

5. Custom Patch Experience with Ninja Patches
We design our own patches in Canva and upload them to Ninja Patches, and they’ve always turned out amazing! Quick turnaround, easy to apply, and super fun to use for events, team gear, and giveaways.
We bought this heat press from Amazon and it was such a hit for us a dress rehearsal and our year-end shows (we also bought this silicone protector from Ninja Patches). We’re planning to use offer our custom patch experience again for our open house & welcome back party!
