Current #ConfettiMOOD: Wild!

We believe the saying goes something like, “if March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb,” and vice versa. We’re not sure about you, but for us, March came in like a pride of lions this year. And it’s certainly NOT going out like a lamb…more like a full-on wild safari ride! But what else is new in the world of dance studio owner / dance teacher life, right?! It’s always a WILD ride around here, and that has been our #ConfettiMOOD all month long!

Wild for a Day Off

This time of March is like the eye of storm. Competition season is in full force, but it’s here now, and you’re in it. The good news is all the choreography and costuming and stress of the pre-competition details are finally in the past, but you also know what lies ahead in the aftermath…year-end show…summer…fall registration. Roar!!

That’s why we were so happy to find just one, single solitary day off on a recent Sunday. We really had to force ourselves to TAKE that day and not work on all the wild things ahead of us. That took work in and of itself, but we did it, and it was really helpful! We encourage you to force yourself to do the same thing. SOON! Take time away from this WILD time for you! Sit outside in the sun for a few hours. Or, if you are in one of the many states experiencing freezing, snowy weather right now, hide your computer in the other room and spread out on your sofa with your favorite magazines and binge watch a show or two (We recently watched The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel [available on Amazon Prime video] and absolutely loved it! There’s even some dancing in it! There is a bit of language, but it’s hilarious and entertaining).

Wild About Summer

If you are a regular follower of our social pages and blog, you know we’ve been hard at work on releasing the four new Camp Confetti Summer Dance FunPacks for this season! We have so much fun putting these together, and love all the amazing feedback we’ve gotten from you! We love making your summer planning simple and more fun, and we’re so glad to hear that we are doing just that! We’re actually offering 7 of the 12 Camp Confetti themes at our own studio this summer, and we are very excited about our enrollment numbers so far!

Wild Music

Each month, we create a new ConfettiMOOD playlist on Spotify to help inspire us in class all month long. Our WILD playlist for March is super fun! Check it out here!

Wild About Quotes

Often times, knowing that someone else is also going through and understands what you’re going through can help you cope through the crazy (that’s kinda the point of this blog!)! It’s so satisfying to find a great quote that perfectly captures or punctuates a feeling you’re having in the moment. And sometimes, you want to share said quote with the world! There are so many fun apps you can use to write your quotes in fun fonts (Word Swag), add a fun background (Rhonna Designs) and post on your social media! We recommend sticking to just one or two fonts that match your brand. Be consistent! Choose backgrounds for your quotes that match your brand as well. For examples, check out #confettiquotecollection on Instagram or Pinterest to see how we do ours! But, you do you!

Maybe you can use one of these to help you survive these wild days, or maybe you can try your hand at creating a quote that looks and feels like your studio’s brand!
